throtlebody cable problem
I snapped my throtlebody cable have no idea how it almost seems imposible for that.... so I ordered a new one but with the new cable there isn't enough cable lenght at the gas padle to have the car idle normally without opening up the throtlebody all times there is a black ruber piece about an inch long at the end if I take that off I will have enough lenght to connect it fine is it ok to take that off??
or could it be its the wront cable its for a 95 gsr another thing I noticed is the original cable that snapped is alot longer then the one I got from honda
any suggestion will be apreciated

if they are the wrong lengths, they are different parts. I measured a 94 civic cable against a 94 ls cable, and they were the same exact length except they had different hardware on them for mounting, etc. You may have got a bum cable.
my car was originally an Ls and I now have a gsr swap I wonder if I need an ls cable?? wait no the tb is for a gsr
but yeah the new cable I got is shorter than the one there
