Does anyone else with an '08 Civic hybrid experience surging when very slowly accelerating from a stop. When it does this, the car is really Herky Jerky until you take your foot off the accelerator and then re-press on the accelerator. Then, the Herky Jerky clears up, until it happens again (e.g. like 50 - 100 miles later).

I took the car into the dealer the first week I had it (new) for this problem, but we could not re-create it, until after I left the dealer. No bulletins, No codes. Apparently the ECM is too stupid to record problems of this nature. After 30,000 miles, the problem is still there. I was hoping by now the problem would be more visible or re-createable, so to speak.

Sorry if this post is in the wrong forum. The Hybrid forum looks like it is dedicated to Mods, etc. and I did not see any other forum dedicated to stock hybrids.
