Default My apology to F23Power

Selling/buying stuff on the internet is always risky. Many people have different views about what is considered good or bad practice.

Although, I strongly believe that not buying the headers is not bad practice on my behalf, I do want to apologize to F23power for not going through with the sale.

Because of the position he is taking on this matter, if I do decide to buy them I'd rather just pay $100 more and buy them brand new anyway. (from 1-866-777-VTEC)

I removed part of the IM conversation because it contained personal information.

I told you it would take me some time to get them off the car. And that I would contact you when they were ready to be sold. In that one week you should have done research about the heat shield and o2 sensor.

And the whole heat shield thing is a lame excuse. Do you have any clue how many cars have DC sports headers? or just headers in general? they all don't have heat shields....there is never a problem with heat in the engine bay...NEVER.

First of all since my initial request about the headers it took you 1 week to get back to me.

Then you IM me on the 3rd telling me they are for sale. The 3rd dude!!! Today it's the 5th. Bad practice? Yeah right!!!

Here it is, in case you forgot

(1:45 PM 9/4/2002) F23 Power: could*

Next time you should do your research a little sooner so the person doesn't have to hold the product for days while you decide if you want it or not. Even though you told me you wanted it 2-3 weeks ago. I was being nice in not letting anyone else purchase it and then you back out of the deal. Just a bad practice.

Thanks for your consideration but I won't buy it.

I talked with a couple 6th gen accord owners and they told me to use thermal wrap.......

Anyway, thanks man and see you around the board!!!!!

yes, it comes with the extension, but stupid me bottomed out right on top of it and cut two wires. I can either fix it up for you or you can do it how you want, your choice, just need to re-connect the wires. I figured I'd just leave the o2 sensor in there if you want to use it. The extension is plug and play though.

The heat shield does not fit over the header.

Let me know.

Thanks
Brian

Hello,

I am Nikos. (2 B 4GO10).

Before I sent you the money, I want to ask you one question.... My stock manifold as you know has the oxygen sensor plug up high on the stock header. From what I could see from the pics you posted in H-T your header comes with a o2 extension cable? Is that so? Does it plug was lower than stock?

Also will the heat shield still fit with your header?

Thank you,

Nikos.
