I’m looking to buy TYC headlights. On ebay they are about $150 shipped, but the part number is 20-6166, which is different from 80-6165-40 on any other website selling them at around $250 (including http://www.elegantebytyc.com/PMLamps/80-6165-40.jpg). Does anyone know if ebay TYC (20-6166) are knock offs? Does anyone have them?

 

Usually a Ebay vendor can sell stuff at a lower price since they don't have a Physical storefront. So they don't have any building rent and probably no employees. It's probably just a guy who buys car parts by the pallet and sells them so he can sit at home all day playing CoD and eating his cheetos. Just look at the sellers rep and judge it well. Read all bad reviews.

 

if they say TYC and have the TYC brand name on them, their usually authentic ( because knock offs arent allowed to use brand name, they always say somewhere Mugen "STYLE"

alot of TYC headlights on ebay have the certificate with them as well

 

all of this makes a good point, I was just wondering why part numbers were different.
