I hear ya but 1200 dollars for that plus the costs of tuning just out of the budget right now.. I also bought the car with the SC already on it plus it has a apex neo and a fmu already installed

Well if that's enough to keep it "safe" then at least you already have a little protection. As said before, don't cheap out on tuning equipment when you're running FI on a N/A car. Unless you'd rather pay for a new f20. Take your pick, 1200 + tuning, or a couple of grand for a new engine, and probably a new charger. Just save up.

a cheap alternative is Greddy emanage ultimate, its not the best but has full tuning capability. all you need it the jumper harness and the Emanage unit.. possibly around 700 new.

Yea, it sounds like for the time being you're in the safe zone..

but it'd be much better to save up for the AEM or Kpro

You can get used AEM's for around 800$, sometimes less. You will also need injectors.

Injector Dynamics 725cc

^^ Those are going to be a purchase for my Comptech setup this year. I have been running RC440cc for the past year. I want slightly lower duty cycles and those ID injectors are said to be phenomenal.

I'd pull it until it can be properly tuned.

Agreed! I love my AEM and the car runs so much smoother than other cars on FIC or Emanage Ult.

Wrong car with FI for a small budget imo then. Slowly save and you won't regret AEM EMS

I have Injector Dynamic 725 and they run great. They will be up for sale in a month so I can go bigger and if you haven't found anything LMK.
