The absolute best gas mileage you have achieved and your car and setup. I'm just curious. I find that this is what Hondas do best!

 

WEll, i have a 95 del sol with ls/vtec setup with 99si trans....type R cams, msd ignition, and skunk 2 p28 ecu...I average about 20 mpg...that's half hwy and city driving...

 

I average about 27 mpg in my 99 civic ex, 50/50 on city/highway. Is there somethign wrong with my car? It's rated at 30mpg city and 36 mpg hwy.

 

475 miles to the tank. 92DX hatch

 

350miles on the highway with the A/C blasting and 300lbs of luggage in a 98 EX with I/E and still had another gallon or so to go. (Wife was nagging me to pull and fill up)

My city MPG sucks a$$ though....225-250 before the yellow light comes on.

 

my gas mileage sucks now, before it was, will this gas go down? now its like, where did my gas go?

 

Bests were 27mpg in the old Corolla, 38mpg in the D15 Civic, 29mpg in the 240SX, 33mpg in the Integra, 35mpg in the D16 Civic, 37mpg in the new Corolla. All manual trans except for the new Corolla.

 

34.6 mpg with the swap. Usually between 32-34 average. With my old D15 my best was 47 mpg on a trip to Louisiana.

 

29 mpg on my d16z6 powered del sol w/ 160k miles

 

Best I got was 34.9 in my 99 Si. All highway miles.

I/H/E VAFC Toyo Tires, clutch, and 50 shot NX (of course not used)

 

got 36 mpg out of my gsr swap coming out of wyoming into colorado. all downhill.

how in the hell do you get such good gas mileage?? i got a 92 cx stock 1.5 w a cai and last week i only got 175 miles to my tank??????

 

395 to the tank in a 92 Si with a 2000 GSR swap. Had A/C on about 90 percent of the time. I think i have the 11.1 gallon tank.

 

i get 267 miles on a tank of gas in my 93 dx runnin on 3 cyl.

I ran my gutted (gutless?) 94 dx dry at 496. The first 450 were highway.

 

420ish miles on one tank (on two different occasions) 1994 Civic EX 5sp coupe, with Iceman CAI, DC ceramic header, GREddy SP exhaust, 195/50-15 tires (Nitto NT450 at the time, back in 1997 or 1998).

I think that's somewhere between 38-42mpg, I'm too lazy to calculate. My tank is 11.9 gallons according to Honda.

Worst gas mileage? 11.7mpg during a whole day of hotlapping Streets of Willow during Hybrid Track Day 1 July 1, 2000.

I regularly go 375 or so before I fill up, and I still have 1.5-2.5 gallons left, and I have 165,000 miles on my D16Z6 too.

I have a 95 cx with exhaust and a K&N drop in and I get around 35 mpg on a 10 gallon tank. My best is around 42, but I have to try really hard for that. I can't get worse than 32. Something is wrong if you only get 175 per tank.

with a 45 L tank...
