on my 1990 crx is my clutch pedal do not come back up when i push it down , can it be the spring go bad on it or can it be more?

 

does the car still drive and shift? it could be the cluch maybe going bad, the spring in the pedal may have came undone, or maybe the clutch cable is bad, that is my guess i have never had this problem

 

it will go in gear, i hear a pop when it happen the clutch will not come back up, i had to pull it up with my hand. i think the spring gone bad i think cuz when i take the spring off it off the pedal come back up slowy
