Default 93 civic problems

hey guys i have a 93 civic with a d15b7 motor and i was trying to figure something out. well heres what happened i had replaced my ac belt started to drive it then it overheated due to a bad thermostat. that was replaced fuiled topped off. started it up once the engine warmed up it started to go from low to high rpms and blowing white smoke out. i was thinking it might be a bad or dirty iac vavle. just wanted to see what you guys thought.
thanks

sounds like a head gasket. you're burning coolant... typically only happens from a bad head gasket.
