Default 99-00 type r lip

ok i did some research and didnt find any pictures on how the poly lip fits exactly on the 04-05 bumper? does anyone have pictures of the fitment, screw placements. did you guys do any cutting or modification? thanks in advance.

it fits snug, no cutting required, just some stretching, 2 screws at each side by the fender well and some 3m tape in the center if you want, optional.

what about the middle top part of the lip, does it go under the bumper or in the open space?

wow i didnt know 99-00 type r front would actually fit the 04-05 and they look better than the type r lip for 04-05...by any chance is there any lip from the other year that would fit 01-03?

yeah thats what i said...i think it looks way better plus its a bit smaller making it better for me and my steep driveway. Im not sure what other years fit the 01-03 models tho.

yep keep in mind it must be a poly to fit

as for 01-03 i believe someone has fitted a 92-95 civic lip on i will try to find the picture

well since the 99-00 fits the 04 and 05, you would think 96-98 fits 01 -03 ? right

well turns out that is doesnt fit. i have about 1 inch gap where the bolts go on each side. you have guys encounted this problem??

i sure everyone who has done it ran into that problem are you trying to do it by yourself..you should try to fit it with a friend holding one side of the lip and you on the other to stretch it
