Default Drag Cartel Drop in Cam Test - K20Z1

Got a set of the new Drop in Cams (Drag Cartel DIC) to do some testing. Used a customer supplied BONE STOCK K20Z1 (Literally stock, Ported PRB, no valvetrain upgrades, still using single springs)

This dyno chart shows a comparison of what the existing map in the Krpo made, and what was made with the DICs, and more tuning.

And this is the DIC dyno by itself.

This cams are specifically designed for a stock K20 longblock, with no valvetrain upgrades. This is not a sale thread, contact me or Jeremy @ Drag Cartel for more information

I.Hate.K.Series... On a serious note those are amazing numbers! Is it safe to assume this car had the basic bolt-ons I/H/E? If so what were they??

this is why i love k-series and will never go back! i'm hoping these cams will be available to the public if they aren't already. i'd pay good money for them. GREAT numbers for drop-in cams.

by the 28th run of the night, which is that particular run, I found it more time effective to start the runs at about 4k rpm. Starting them at 2500-3000 each time just resulted in longer cool down times before the next run could be done. by the 15th or so run I had the lower rpm range just about tuned where it needed to be so it was pointless to keep starting there.

BONE STOCK single springs can handle nearly 9000rpm?
What is going on between 7500-9000. Can't say I have ever seen hp go flat like that unless something else is going on.
Great numbers by the way.

Looks like there's a restriction. Which only means more power can be had with a few supporting mods.

Would of been nice to see what the stock but tuned motor would have put out.
Great results from just a "drop in cam" none the less.

Run file 001 on the first graph is the stock engine tuned.

The restriction is most likely the DC sports header.

I assumed it was the map provided with Kpro, not a tuned one.
