Hi guys, I have a 2001 Honda Accord with an F23A4 engine (2 O2 sensors). When my cat converter goes bad I am going to cut it out and put in a simple piece of pipe instead. But I have 2 O2 sensors, so I suppose the 2nd sensor will trigger a check engine light after that modification. Is there any way of troubleshooting that? Should I just ditch the second O2 sensor along with the cat converter?

 

you will get a check engine light, if your state has emission tests u wont pass without a cat, and if it doesnt and u still want to remove it you would have to buy an 02 sensor simulator which u plug in place of the 02 sensor and stops the lCEL light from appearing
