I'm looking for a cheap EK for my project car, I've already looked at autotrader.com, ebay, and thepartstrader.com

I'd really like to find something with high miles and a good body/chassis or something that has light damage that I can fix at my shop....

Where did you guys find your EK's for 2500 and 3000 like I always read about...I can't find anything under $5000....

Unless someone on here has a already swapped B18B or B18C EK hatch they want to sell me at a cheap price?

 

an ek! i doubt a ek for 3000... maybe a eg... you can find eg's for about 2000-3000... i got lucky i think 6800 for a 98 wasnt bad but i did find a 96ek for 4500..
autotrader usually dont have good deals.. if you were local the washington post usually have great deals on cars... check that out..

I know my 98 hatch sold for 1300
all it need was need front cross member and repair to driver side suspesion

And jdmeg6turbo...I have read at least four times on here how someone got a great deal on a EK for under 3000.....maybe not a mint condition EK but thats not what I'm looking for...I can fix it up bodywise for free in my shop....I'm looking for one with a bad motor or just a shell or something not a mint condition driving EK, I dont care if it runs or not.....
guess I'm just not looking hard enough...

I'm in Illinois so the Washington Post probably wouldnt do me any good unless I could get a good deal on shipping
