Default RPM drops

DID A COUPLE OF RUNS AND ON THE LAST RACE WHEN I WAS JUST ABOUT TO GO INTO SECOND GEAR THAN RPM DROPS ON ME AND MOTOR WAS STUTTERING SO I SHUT THAT BITCH OFF, ANYONE HAS A CLUE? IM THINKING TIMING JUMP... ANY HELP/SUGGESTION WILL GIVE ME A IDEAS WHAT TO LOOK AT..THANKS

dizzy crapped out possibly? timing wont throw your tach off

when i was lining up reving at about 4500 rpm and as i take off and motor gets at around 8000 before getting into 2nd gear rpm drops all the way and motor was stuttering... we tried restarting it. you can hear it crank but wont turn over. i had to towed the car home

yeah that sounds like your dizzy crapped out or possibly main relay, fuel pump, or ecu. check for spark. if it stinks like fuel its dizzy. if it doesnt you might wanna check if the fuel pump is even priming. even check the ground on the coolant thermostat housing and the tranny ground strap to make sure they both have good connection

Got sparks and compression, i took out the valve cover to take a look inside and flip it over and i see this scrape in the inside of it. it looks like the cams and belt was rubbing on the valve. this really got me thinking about how my timing belt ended up looking like this. I wont find out the problem cause im not a major honda tech, i know the basics of it. Its gonna be a while till my mechanic have time from work but i will sure let you guys know just incase someone goes through this. i hear it can be anything from valve bent to piston rings to timing and feul pump etc...
