You didn't index the springs properly. I doubt they'll even seat correctly being chopped.

You need new springs.

Yep, you probably cut the spring in a place where it won't fit the seats. I'd rather buy a eBay spring set rather then chop OEM ones.

sounds like you didnt cut the coils right but really egay springs are like 100 bucks

cut the 1 coil off at a time not a 1/2s then your screwed and if there not indexed right the bearing plats bind and will break causing a bigger more expensive problem then you have now

my advise order new springs and dont drive it before you cost yourself more money

Don't EVER cheap out on performance parts. appearance parts, its frowned upon, but alright. Cutting your springs is WRONG save up and do it right the first time. now you're guna have to dish out more money for probably a new axle it sounds like and new springs. When you cut the springs, it weakens the metal the springs are made to be strong at that size you take part of it away and it loses its strength. (and height) lowering springs are stronger and shorter. to make up for one another.

very bad move. i 2nd on not cheaping out on performance parts not because its frowned upon but, you really do end up forking up a butt load of cash in the end. even if you do a quick fix on the cut springs, youve just cut the the life on those stock shocks and cut the life of your tire tread. do it right once, and you wont have to do it 5 times to get it right. live and learn the hard way. cause I DID! ha GL
