i need an exhaust for my jdm 98 specs itr and it currently have a ls exhaust right now and i think its holding alot of air back. my friend said i shud get a type s but i kinda want a type r cuz i heard its all free flowing. any tip on what i shud get? and how much it cost for a whole type-r bottom? or a type-s bottom?

 

Bottom what? Just use a custom 2.5" b-pipe with a new Si axle back. That has been getting really good power according to Shawn Church.

I know it's off topic, but it would be interesting to see how a DC5 Type R muffler would look and sound on a DC2 Type R. Has anyone done this before?

It has to be modified by a muffler shop to bolt to the OEM B-pipe. Basically, cut the piping on the muffler, rotate it a bit and weld back together.

Any RSX/DC5 rear section will work provided your muffler shop has someone with half a brain.

 

My DC5 ITR axle back is mated to a custom made 2.5" B-pipe. Sorry for lagging on the pics. ill get them up today.
