Default Help with installing radio in glove box

I just got a 94 integra that has no radio in it. The radio was stolen 3 times under the previous owner so they gave up and never bought one again. I figured I could avoid this by hiding it in my glove box. The last thief to steal the radio cut the wiring harness, so I know I'll need to buy a new one of those. Is it hard to replace the wiring harness under the dash?

How should I go about installing the radio deck? I figured I'd leave the old wiring harness dangling there to make it look like it's still gone with the new wiring harness routed out of sight to the glove box. I don't know if I'd need to cut the glove box apart or just need to get some sort of bracket to screw it to that fits in there.

first off donyt just make ur car look like **** with no radio in it. just get a radio with a removable faceplate, and when ur at someplace throw it in the glovebox

moving it to the glovebox, only requires extending the wires to the glovebox and of course u would have to buy a antenna extender of some sort

easy as that, extend the wires. u can wire the wires directly to the new stereo but id reccomend buying a new harness

Is the rest of the radio that the faceplate attaches to pretty cheap to replace?
I honestly never understood why these deter people, but I'll look into a detachable faceplate. Saw a kenwood that looks good at the moment.

If the radio comes with a wiring harness, do I still need to buy a new one to replace my cut one or is it the replacement?

If you are worried about theft add an alarm system that goes off when there is vehicle movement when the alarm is armed.

In my expereince it is best to get an alarm that mounts under the Hood and detects vehicle movement of any type then the alarm resets it self. A Movement sensor detects the crook trying to get access to the vehicle and stops them before they do.

Under the hood install requires they get into the car and pop the hood to get to the alarm.
