Jon Kaase handling the Pro Stock engines for you guys? Does he actually sell the engines or does he rent them out?

Saw the setup at Titan a few weeks ago, the cobalts monster motor is pretty impressive up close.

The engine is bought for the pro stock cars. We have two engines for the pro stock car one in the car and one spare. They make approx 1825-1850 HP and run on Gas.

Right on.......I knew that in NHRA Pro Stock some of the guys rented engines from Reher-Morrison and the likes......

These are mountain motor pro stocks so they are 824 cubic inces vs the NHRA 500 cubic inch deal.

Yep, this class seems to be like the old IHRA Mountain Motor Pro Stocks back in the 70's.

Yeah, I knew that. Ive seen quite a few of them run, either in ADRL or other smaller events. I have not been to an IHRA race and seen them, yet.

I just knew from the past that people sometimes rented engines from builders for a season. Especially in NHRA teams, they did it in both Pro Stock Car and Pro Stock Bikes.

My dad used to help a guy when I was a kid that had a Pro Stock style car. It was more of a Top Sportsman class though....

IHRA still runs the Mountain Motors. I live and go to school not to far away from Sonny Leonard's shop who builds some of these engines.
