Default h22 dyno graph question

Just wanted to see what people think of this. It is a stock h22 running e85 and tuned with chrome. I thought it should have been a little more but thats why Im asking for opinions. Also, does it seem like it starts to lose power kind of early?

Something is most def wrong. What's ur setup and what a/f ratios was this tune to.

We really need to see an a/f graph that would say alot. But looks like u have major problems.

Looks like ignition related or timing a/f alot of things could be the problem.

Is this engine stock have the internals ever been touched

The internals are stock, I got the motor from h motors. I don't have any other data other than what I have posted. I just thought it looked a little funny compared to other stock h22 dynos I have seen. I am running 750 injectors with e85, I have a fuel pressure regulator, larger throttle body, clutch, flywheel, cam gears. P28 ecu and tuned with chrome. Why do you say there is def. something wrong? The whole reason I posed this graph is becuase I took my car to PIR (dragstrip) and granted I am a new driver but the best time I could lay down on slicks was a 13.9. Thanks for the input I really need it, I am new to the sport and really need some help.

well in that case u need a good tuner and find a good one.

What chassis is in and what trans do u have.

and what was ur mph with that 13.9 et.

Also i think those injectors are way 2 big for yoursetup even for e85 the injectors are probably not scaled right for ur combination and sometimes can be a bitch to dial in like itb's i would maybe go with 450cc injectors and go to a good tuner.

ur dyno u should make at least 170 to 185 whp and 150's tq and ur powerband falls of way to early another thing do a compression test and see if u have a healthy motor if u have low compression that might be the cause.

Also get a set of stock cam gears u don't need aftermarket cam gears on stock cams that could throw ur timing off a bunch if they are not setup right.

the 2 main things to get done.

compression test.
and stock cam gears.

compression test then post results

13.9 @ 97. The car is a 92 civic cx hatch, the tranny is stock lsd prelude. So im correct then, it should make power a little higher than it does? The thing is the guy that tuned my car has been doing it for like 15 years and has an 8 sec turbo car he built. I just think something might have been wrong with my tune. And he checked the compression and leak and they were fine for a motor with 50,000 miles.

Stock header, exhaust is crush bend 2 1/2 no cat, shitty muffler. I was wondering if it should make power up to at least 7, or would I have to do some more upgrades?

I bet it "feels" good when VTEC kicks in LOL

Gotta ask...why E85 on that particular motor?

e85 was a recommendation from the tuner

looks pretty normal to me. you are making a few more hp than most stock motors. ur vtec cross over needs to be messed with to make the transition a little smoother. Look like it could be brought down just a little.

Have you replaced the plugs or wires?

with a header you will see some noticeable gains....only if you get a decent header.

The uncorrected numbers are not HORRIBLE, but not great either. The torque definitely falls off earlier than all other H22's I've tuned.

I'd say you can get more out of it with a better tune.

There is no reason you should have that big a jump when VTEC hits if you have a proper tune. An SAE corrected graph would also help give us a little better feel for what the numbers are, but otherwise those are pretty close to a stock motor; granted the only things you have other than a stock motor are the tb, flywheel and e85 which I wouldn't expect to give you a big boost.

The power definitely falls off much earlier and harder than most stock H22's, something is not right.
