Default Radiator problems

sup e1 i have an issue.. my eg hatch is sucking coolant.. either that or its leaking.. its 1am and dont feel like ****ing with it really till morning.. but i was wondering if anyone can help me diagnose my problem.. thermostat? leak? fan isnt' comin on either. . help? and thank you

Well u have 3 things it could b, leaking, burning, or boiling it out. With the limited info u gave its hard to say. I would properly fill it first and then drive it around for 30 to 45 min's and then pop the hood and inspect things. Look for white smoke out the exhaust or steam coming from some where in the engine bay. GL

my eg8 n my ej6

talk about ****ed... :/ no money.. homie told me its head gasket

not sure, one night the ej6 just started heating up, n it had water... and oil... n the radiator seemed to work ok, no hoses were broken...... damit

I replaced my radiator last week...

It had a slight leak, that was driving me crazy. Not a bad leak - had to fill my overflow bottle about once a month - but it was worrisome, all the same.

I finally did a pressure test, and the top tank (plastic) was leaking. The reason I didn't see it was, it was dribbling into this little piece of foam (on the front edge of the tank) that they put on OEM radiators. I guess it was oozing into the foam and evaporating...

Anyway, you might want to do a pressure test (or have a dealer do it, if you don't have the equipment) and see if you/they can spot it. Otherwise, you'll just be guessing...

well it is boiling and there is also smoke coming out of the exhaust.. the fan is hooked up properly now and its still sucking coolant like crazy

I would say that the head gasket is shot and/or the head is warpped.
