so my rear passengers side coilover has pretty much pissed out all the fluid in it at this point in time. i need to get it rebuilt but im not sure where to go. i tried contacting omni via email and did not get a response. whats my best plan? id like to get the drags rebuilt rather than use the street coilovers on my car

i have a set of omni streets i think(still on my friends car) but id really prefer to use the drags for my car
i heard a rumor it was blox, but its just that so far, a rumor. i wonder if i can get one of their struts which should be valved appropriately for a 1000 lb spring and just use that with my other omni drags.....

^^ thank you. I sent another email last night. I hope to hear back either way, just so if i have to buy a new strut i can get to it. my motor is about to go on the stand for assembly and i finally have a nice clean chassis for once so im eager to get this going
I can rebuild those coilovers, but are you prepared to pay 150 bucks a corner? They need to be modified in order for me to rebuild them and I am also pretty damn busy with our stuff so it will be atleast 3-4 weeks. There are a few ways I can do this. I can also machine and assemble a brand new damper to be direct fit and thread into your omni hardware or just sell you everything. This really sucks and I have always pushed people to go with a company that can service there parts in house which we can. Also our dampers can be rebuilt and revalved by anyone! If you know a place that can rebuild ohlins, penske, or even bilstein then they can revalve and rebuild our dampers no problem. I don't plan on going anywhere, but I made sure that servicing our dampers would be easy just incase anything were to happen to me.
You just gotta ask yourself if it is worth it. I have rebuild d2, ksport, omni, and quite a few other brand dampers, and retrofitted them to be a true take apart shock, but it takes time and can be a pain in the ***. But some people don't have too many options. I got a Hotbits setup the other day that was shipped to be so I can quote the rebuild and my gosh these are one of the worst shape dampers I have received to date. The amount of time and money it is going to cost me to fix them to my standards are going to cost like 700 bucks. Rather than rebuilding it, I am going to use some parts I have laying around the shop and put together a brand new setup for my friends customer. Sometimes it's just better to fork out a little extra money and get something new.
Good luck pal! Let me know if I can help.

Call them...they will answer and they are friendly. I had an issue with an omni strut last winter and they offered to rebuild it for free...in the end they sent me a brand new strut free of charge
