Default h22a swap in 4th gen accord

done a h22a engine conversion on my 4th gen accord...wat revs do the h22a rev out at??mine revs out at 6500....how do i get to rev to 7500rpm???

if your using the prelude ecu, then your vtec is not switching over and you are hitting a premature rev limiter

since you have a swap...bad wiring would be #1

not enough oil pressure is another cause

or a bad vtec solenoid

what code are you pulling. that's the first step.

if you have no check engine lights, check to make sure you're using the correct ecu.

Or if you just got the swap done you might want to check the oil level. That is as high as the ECU will let you run when you are low on oil. Just a thought. The wiring problem is prolly correct but check for the simple fixes first

would an apexi rsm(rev speed meter) or an apexi v-afc (vtec air,fuel control) fix this problem???

no. you're in the limp mode. any time you have a problem your ECU will cut the fues off at 6500RPM. it's a safety feature.
check your ECU for codes, find out what is wrong and go from there. also check if all the wiring is done correctly.

i did an oil check thats fine how do i know if i have a bad solnoid???checked ecu is fine..is there anthing else that the vtec runs off???
