Hey everyone, i have a b16 transmission problem. When i am driving at a normal speed ans trying to shift in to 3rd it kicks me out. Im not sure if it is grinding cause i never rode in a car whose tranny was grinding before. Could it be the syncros? I have been reading alot of fourms and alot of people have recommended using GM Syncromesh to fix to help the problem? Is this only for a transmission that grinds?

 

well b series are known for 3rd gear problems, sycromesh may help, but i think if its popping outta gear then its more or a internal gear problem

 

in short terms u need a trany rebuild or a new trany
