yo wat up honda tech i got a 94 civic si and i can pop my hood any suggestions??

 

Get a second person to press down on your hood while you pop it. Then lubricate the hood latch.

Park your car on the street and walk away... since it's a honda and they never get broken into, someone will come and pop your hood open all doors and trunk...

it depends, is the latch stuck? what happens when you pull on the cable? mine got stuck and i did the same thing as above... had a friend push down on the hood and pull back up as I wall pulling the latch in the car and it came open...

Your cable may be poped, use a flat head and pry the latch open, hood should come right up.

If it's moving freely you have a broken cable. You'll have to find a way to pop it with a screwdriver or something. If it's not moving freely, you have a stuck cable. You'll have to find a way to pop it with a screwdriver or something.

yea screwdriver works jack car up... even a pick maybe able to get in there and pull where the cable hooked on to ive done this plenty of times..

I actually crawled under my car one day and reached up behind the bumper and voila! try it out....use jack stands

yea i finally got my hood poped!

 

if you really cant pop it with the lever from inside your car
reach thru ur bumper and grab on the cable and give it a yank
