if its got 104,000 miles it probably hasn't had the timing belt service done. I think its due at 105,000. make sure it gets done asap, as well as having the valves adjusted. they are a problem in the crv's if they are not adjusted every 30,000 miles. I would change the tranny fluid and the dual pump fluid as well. only use honda fluids

Did Water pump and Timing belt at dealer as well.

I learnt a tough lesson on getting aftermarket ball joints instead of genuine Honda, and they only lasted a month.

i get all my honda parts straight from honda. no dealer. gf's mom works at the engine plant and she gets all of the parts for me. fluids will be the same.

What brand of ball joints only lasted a month? Maybe they didn't come pre greased?

Went through one of those small shops, the guy got the ball joint from a name which i've now forgotten unfortunately.
I just spent a considerable amount on getting the 2 front lower ball joint replaced at the dealer, since the passenger side was still the original one and quite worn, plus the rear trailing arm bushings which also had excessive wear.

The SUV is great looking, no rust inside and out and interior is mint, its just the previous owner barely ever had it serviced for anything.

i know the sidebars are discontinued, ill have to get them from somewhere else. if i do the sidebars i like the chrome trim around the outside of the grille. its my gf's car and she likes the hood bra, so... she gets it, lol. i was thinking 8 because the chart i looked at was wrong. i will be doing 6, and yes it is auto.

^^ sounds right. this one doesnt look stock. it has a rubber trim peice on the inside to conform to the headliner for fitment. looks good but the cheap plastic panels to cover the inside are ****. still need to figure out how to take them out. will post some more pics of the sunroof for you guys later tonight after i get off work.

^^
that was a dealer option here in the east coast idk in other coast...
it wasnt really that popular coz most crv buyers that time were
already saying that it could leak when it snow is here.. thats why
in our area theres less avail. Vs that came in w/ the sunroof...
i was looking for a manual V w/ sunroof then, still none up to now..

i didnt say it leaks... most dealership i went before told me
that most of their buyers before were thinking ahead of that
problem thats why they had a hard time selling some units that
has sunroof w/ them...
i have a civic Si(eg) so far no leaks til now.... idk why would
some think of that..LOL!
anyway your lucky since you have a sunroof.. ive been really
wanting one til now!!
