Hitting The UpComing CMI Event..Tips/Advice For A Noob?
Whatsup guys. Im planning to run my car next month at the CMI event in sacramento. I was just wondering if you guys could give me some pointers.
Car is a DD(full interior, PS, AC, etc) DC Integra GSR
Currently:
-SRI, Shitty DC 4-1s, gutted stock cat, 2.25 crush piping2ITR muffler, Spoon p72, JDM ITR flywheel, Supertech VS, Retainers, JUN3 cams(I know, I know, too much cam for the stock GSR comp)
Car is UNTUNED, but feels great.
Questions are:
-Should I drop the exhaust? Will there be any gain? Worth the Trouble?
-Will be on BFG Drags 205/50/14, what PSI should they be set to?
-Water burnout or Around the waterbox?
-Also Which RPM to launch to drop the 60'?
-Stock suspension with Neuspeed yellows, just FYI
-I have a Blox velocity stack, will there be any gains with and extended pipe and the stack out of the headlight?
I've ran the car before with the same setup(no stack), but REALLY shitty alignment and michelin polits(hard compound slicks?) and Skunk2 tuner1s and the car went 14.5@94 with a 2.3 60'
The car feels ALOT better now with the JUNs and I will be getting an alignment done later this week.
Here is the car with the same setup on drag radials set at 14psi warm on a dirty street. Launch is at 5,000rpms, experimenting with Pre-Loading
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LI-R4lCAMwA
Here i launched at 6,100 NO loading.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3Dh6wt_VeM
Im HOPING to get atleast a 14.2-14.0 and my goal is to hook up a 2.0 60' or better
LMK what you guys think. Any input, positive or negative is appreciated!!!!

First and foremost I recommend adding Chrome if your on a budget, if not Hondata...that would allow you to add sometype of 2 step and that will allow you better launch capabilities, stiffening the suspension is a good thing to do w/ those tires I say go around and not thru the burnout, Just a few suggestions on my end.....

LOL. I think we have a dyno here in Fresno we can always rent out. And if I were to rent out a dyno, I'd rather take a trip to to Parris and get it tuned cause my buddy is close with Derek
