Default F2B CRX Project

well my rex has been sitting for about a year with now work done since i worked and went to school but now i got laid off so got plenty of time to work on my car. so its going to be slow because i have to save money but here it goes!!

1991 crx si
i have already done......
all energy suspension polyurethane bushings
polyurethane rear trailing arm bushing
skunk 2 rear camber kit
spc rear toe link
Full Race traction bars
steel braided lines
extended wheel studs

what im planning to do.....
SPC front upper control arms
AIM sports cluster
s2000 start button
wire tuck
rywire brake line tuck kit
Roll Bar
Rywire engine wiring
lights wiring
walbro intank fuel pump
T1 battery disconnect
AEM PNP Engine Management
AEM EPM
AEM TWIN FIRE
AEM CDI PENCIL COIL
planning on building an all motor f2b hehe F20B
but first wiring!!!

ripped out all of my crx wiring a decided on a wiring kit for a "hot rod" its called EZ wiring a lot like Painless wiring everything is labeled every 5 inches i believe.

Fuse box mounted


tail lights wire routing mock up


made connectors for easy removal of wiring harness
one on the right is for the front lighting and the one on the right is rear lighting


now got to solder these together this the combination switch plug for the turn signals and headlights

the kit was 145 shipped on ebay its the ez wiring 12 mini fuse box

different and cool yes, but whats wrong with using a stock harness?

seems like going about it this route will likely cause many headaches and alcohol filled evenings

for one my regular harness was chopped up and well the main reason for this is i wanted to separate the chassis harness from the engine harness. rywire will be making my engine harness i will be using an ek harness since it goes from engine to ecu.

its actually not that bad at first when i got the kit i was WTF? but after just sitting down and looking through everything it wasn't to bad. from the ez wiring kit im really only using the head lights, brake lights and blinkers etc. all the other stuff is just extra spots i can fill with acc. later if i need it.

as it stands, ditch the shade. if it was like cleaner and had a lot better fitment, then maybe. and that's a big maybe lol

yea my friend got it for me a whiel back and i just threw it on top its not bolted down or anything yea i know what you mean its not very cool looking haha
