I have a friend in Japan who's got a great deal on Brand new (that's right, brand spanking new - fresh out of the box) 98 Integra Type R trannies coming back with him to the states at the end of this month; but he have to have five orders (minus one for me) so four more at only 1350 each. The going price for used ones are around 1400-1500 with usually unknown conditions. This is going to be brand new so it'll be in perfect condition. Let me know soon if interested--IM or email.

He just told me they're the 98 ITR trannies: whatever the specs of a 98 ITR tranny that is what it is; I just gotta jump on one because my car is sitting in the garage for like a month now since I got ripped off buying a used POS gsr tranny from some *** a month ago. At least this one will be brand new and legit.

Well, I have five people interested already; I just need four of them to get a deposit to me to lock this thing up and get it going. But I will not accept deposits until I get a much broader date from the importer to when the container is coming in. He told me it should be here before the end of the month, but I want a date cuz I'm overly anxious to get my car off them jackstands. I'll let you guys know by tomorrow so we can get this ball rollin. Hopefully the people who's been emailing me are in pick up range because I hate shipping big stuff. BTW, I'm in Lancaster, CA by Los Angeles County Raceway(Palmdale).

 

if its a 98 spec JDM ITR tranny, its a 4.785 FD, not 4.7

 

Like I had said, whatever the specs are on the 98 ITR trannies, that's what you'll get.

Whatever. Read that same post: does it not say "all 98 specs" meaning the same thing...well at least to me. I aplogize if it's not clear to you but that is what was meant.

 

Man, I just got off the phone with my friend who's supposingly hooking me up with the 5 trannies and now he just told me he sold 4 of them to a shop somewhere in the bay area because they paid him already; I was like what the f@#k he had just told me about them Sunday!
Well now there's only the one left and I told him I'm definitely picking that one up so don't sell it.....he agreed, but I feel really bad because a couple of you were really interested also and he just told me he's gonna check to see if he can get anymore possibly next month because this container is coming in on the 25th of this month(that was the exact date I was hunting for before accepting any deposit, but the guy had aready sold the other four, sorry people). I'll let you guys know though if anything happens (like if he was able to bring more than just those five) I'll buy everyone he's got on the 25th so nobody would need a deposit or anything and they can see them before buying; but we're going to just have to see. I tried, but someone else beat us to it; at least one is up for grabs.
