Default My 99 hatch.

Hello all..ive been on here for a little over 2 years and havent been that active..i guess ill start by making an apperance/whatever build thread..im not really going for anything crazy but im gonna do what i can with the car...heres what i have so far...still waiting on new rims to come in tho :/

heres the before pictures...as you can tell by the pictures ive done a lot so far

heres the day i got it about a month ago

and now the so fars...

and heres the rims that i ordered..diamond racing wheels, white 15x8 12+ offset

saw a write up for black interior on here and i liked it sooo..i did it, reason being is because 96-00 usdm civics only came in ugly grey interior and maybe tan?..some will argue that the si has black, but it doesnt...its a dark grey.

and heres mine so far..waiting for 2 more cans to come in tomorrow so i can do the dash and glove box..maybe carpet
i used sem color coat, satin black so it doesnt look all shiney and gay, and imo it looks like a oem finish which i am very happy with.

comparison for you guys

cars torn apart for the moment haha

and some pics in my room..

matching set..before=right..after=left

carpet..cleaned and powerwashed, it did look hell of a lot worse

oem=left dyed=right...the dyed one doesnt really have the white bloch
spots..not sure why it does in pics?

dash installed..

ouch..gotta get that fixed...bumped it with the seat rail when i was trying to squeeze everything in the car the night i disassembled interior

all done aside from the seats..i plan on getting si seats soon though

went out to put on my black 92-95 wheel and i was surprised..some genius at honda decided to change the size of the spline that the wheel goes on, so 92-95 wont work for 96-00..i guess ill have to deal with the ugly grey one until i get funds for the wheel that i want...which probably wont happen for a while

heres the wheel that i wanna get.. $419 with the hub adapter..

and heres an ok before and after shot of the bay..

and i might as well throw my plans for it out there too..

-full coil over suspension
-si seats..maybe
-im thinking a b20 swap..cause i really liked the ls and a b20 is ten more pounds of tourqe and the same amount of horse..next winter though
-new paint..next winter
-nardi wood grain wheel
-diamond racing wheels..on there way
-color matching all the moldings, mirrors, and sideskirts
-doing the hood in graffiti..iffy about it..need input from you guys on here
-keeping stock exaust..or somthing aftermarket but not loud, big, and gay
-jdm side marker lights
-jdm km/h cluster
-antenna block off plate
-lip kit
-window visors
-duel din radio block off plate
-arc shift ****
-quick relese hub for my nardi wheel
-red honda badges

thats my plans so far...ill update if i change my mind on anything

and if anyone knows how to change my user name if possible could you help me out?..thanks for looking

Nice! But just my opinion, those rims really just don't go with the 96-00 Civics but it's your car. Also if you want to have a all black interior, get S2k seats!!!

That car looks way better, nice work. I like the wheels, they're different, but they're racing wheels and look pretty cool.

I wouldn't go with Si seats, search for some black Integra ones. I also hate that wood steering wheel inside a pseudo modern interior, but hey, I hope you end up liking it.

Keep up the good progress!
