The plastic piece that makes contact with the switch may have come apart, look for a "blue crayon" looking part on your floor board. It's the same Honda part that is used on the brake light switch that always goes bad, there are a lot of write-ups for the brake lights staying on and how to fix that but not many on the neutral safety switch, but i have had to change both of mine in the last couple of years and I used the same Honda part for both. It's a little plastic plug that just pushes into a hole on the clutch pedal arm or the brake pedal arm depending on which one you're fixing.

ya thats probably the problem same thing happened on my old sedan but it was the switch for the cruise control on the clutch. but if you wana rig it just take the plug off the switch and jump the 2 wires and then you wont have a saftey switch anymore.

The neutral safty switch is under the dash just go under dash and follow the pedal up and you'll find it it screws into the bracket at the top

On the back (top right corner)of the under dash fuse panel there are 2 thick (10gauge) black with a white stripe wires If you connect them together it bypasses the whole interlock system.
