Spark Plug Gap (not a normal question)
I searched and found a number of threads saying it's supposed to be .044 (1.1mm) which is all fine and dandy, but I changed my plugs recently and noticed something... This is in a jdm d15b.
I was told to gap them to .032. The guy said that's what they're supposed to be. It didn't sound right to me, but I drove on that for about a week or so. I did some searching and found they're supposed to be .044, so I changed them to that. I did a full throttle test, and there is a LOT less power at .044 than at .032. I know it's a D and there isn't power to begin with, but there is actually a noticeable difference.
Question is has anybody done any playing around with the gap on a stock (with I/H/E) motor? All I know is that I'm gonna be re-gapping mine to .032. It felt SO much better to me...
