Alright so i talked to my uncle about the rsx and the s2k. And he said that both cars are great, and its all up to me on my decision. I thought about it, I love the s2k cause of its sporty look and its convertible body. Many people say that the s2k is a good FR car to experience, from its power and handling. The 05-06 RSX on the other hand is a good FF car to drive and race (Touge, AutoX ect..) in my opinion. I also love its sporty look as well, especially if the car is blue.

I am kind of aiming for the s2000 cause its not as expensive as the 05-06 RSX.
But I'll wait for you guys to help me out!

I also have a question about the s2k! So s2k owners I need your help!
1. The convertible soft top! If you washed your car would the water have any effect on the soft top?

If you are talking about leaking water in, only if there is a tear in the top. Otherwise, I haven't had a problem. Don't drive into the automated washes tho. Bad for you car anyhow. A pointer tho, get the 03 for the glass rear window. You won't regret it

 

s2k is a fun car and thr are alot of ppl who use them as a dd so if you can manage without the rear seat then def get the s2k

and about the top mine had to be stitched because ppl think its funny to run a knife into convertibles around here for some reason, but it dont leak so thr shouldnt be any problems thr, just watch out for as$holes

How did you come to the conclusion it is a good car to race? Did you even drive it? Do you think it is better than an S2K on the track? The S2K is a different monster if you haven't driven a RWD (less forgiving, although low torque ! )

It comes down to how much space you need and what type of look your going for!

I had an 06 VBP RSX just like you want. It was a great car, but if i were you I'd go with the S2000. It's a better platform.

This thread sucks. No offense to the OP, but I'm sick of these questions. It's like comparing 2 completely different things.

But to help out with some advice... Test drive both n then make your decision. I mean cmon you come to an S2000 section of HT n ask S2000 owners if they think you should get an S2000 or RSX... Hello?!?!? McFly?!?!

 

Buddy has an RSX, he had to spend a lot of $$ getting 240hp out of the K20 NA. Spend half has much on the s2000 and get 250-260hp. You'll **** on a RSX-s in every battle, touge, track, drag. RWD FTW

HAAHHHAHAAH do you even own a S2000? Cause you can have a cheap or high quality JDM I/H/E and tune and it will not not net anywhere near 250HP! But you are right the S2000 is better in every way lol...

This is getting rather disheartening to read every day. IMO, if you're considering a rsx... the s2000 isn't for you.

RSX's are FAST, especially with the Type S badge on the rear holy **** it smoked me by a bus length. Mind you at that time I had a 400+whp S2000 and the RSX just took off on me and all I saw was tail lights after that. Too bad I was in a POS 3600lb. 05' Accord at the time and not really racing but the RSX felt the need to gun it.

 

you can never wash the S2000, the top cant ever get wet. Honda didnt have it in mind that people would need to wash it.

Wait are you sure you want the S2000? If you change the Type-S badge on a RSX to a Type-R badge (JDM of course) then you will rape most cars out there! Guaranteed I seen it before somewhere....

Soft tops don't leak unless tears, how about hardtops? I would assume with correct installation nobody has had leaking issues?
