uhmmm. a wiring question about EK4 SIR Headlights..

Are the Corner (amber/turn signal) lights meant to stay on when the headlights are on?
USDM Headlights have them stay on (night running lamp). but is it different in Japan, as they have the side marker lights to perform this task?

FYI-
The (3) USDM wires from the harness are colored Green/Yellow (Blinker), Red/Black(? Possibly the Stationary on Position), and Black (Ground).
The JDM Plug has (3) wires colored Green/Yellow (Blinker), and 2 Black wires (Possibly both Ground?).

Right now i just connected the ground and blinker wires together and left the lonely black wire from the headlight and the red/black wire from the harness alone.. i have headlights, and i have turn signals- but just the fact that the turn signals wont stay on during night is a problem.. actually not a problem- i just need a confirmation notifying me that the corners were not meant to stay on in japan.

and also, what is the extra black wire from the JDM light meant to be hooked up to anyway?

i just bought my ek4 headlights but i didn't mess around with the wiring, i just used my OEM corner bulbs, they actually do fit if you maneuver them to make them fit.... lights work perfect, but the corners light up clear instead of amber...
