Default Wierd Noise When Turning...

Ok, here is the deal. I am driving an 1990 Honda Accord EX.

The problem is that whenever I'm driving and I start to make a left turn I can hear a cracking/clicking noise coming from the front left end of my car. I've been trying for ages to find out what the problem is, but I still can't figure it out.

Here are some things people have told me. It could be the CV Axles, but I've have checked them and none of them seem to be bad or have any rips in their boots. I have also heard that it may be the bearings, but a lot of people say if your bearings are bad then your car vibrates a lot when you accelerate to a higher speeds. Some has also told be it make just make that noise because the axle nut isn't on tight, but from inspection it seems to be on tightly and correctly...

My car drives forwards fine at any speed. It just makes the noise on left turns. Right turns are find. What do you think guys???

(My theories may be incorrect so correct me if I'm wrong, I'm here to learn from my mistakes)

i would say ur left side CV half shaft (axle) is bad internally inside the boot and requires replacement

Bumping you because I got the same thing going on here. Drives fine straight and right...but as soon as the steering wheel turns left the noise occurs. Axles are fine, ball-joints "could" use replacing but I cant find anything out of order here. The noise sounds similar to something grinding up on the brake dust plate but the clearance looks fine. If you found your solution I would like to know what was causing the problem. Thanks.

You can't just "look" at your CV axles to see if they are ok. Even if the boots aren't ripped they still could make the popping noise
