Default B engine, D trans adapter

hi,
i'm trying to put B20 for my civic (year 88), and i want to keep it in automatic.
the problem is, B autotrans is too big, and i cant install my radius rod properly,

radius rod will hit the trans,
I can make the radius rod straight,
usually like this /--\ ,
i can make it like this |--|
but I cannot make a sharp turn, only 30 degrees angle max, except i use 5cm spacer for my rims, which is my last option.

BISI usualy made B F H adapter,so I'm wondering is there I can find trans adapter? with B engine with D trans?

this is not a race car, so any D trans should be fine with small horsepower

thx

The manual transmission adapters are different than automatic transmission adapters. It will not work. Are you sure it won't fit? I don't the automatic is that much bigger. What mounts are you using?

You don't want to make your radius rods straight. Also the D trans is stronger than a B. Like the last guy said the adapter wont work those are not made for automatics

Unless someone has a physical limitation and is not able to operate a clutch pedal or manual gear shift, going with a 5 speed swap would be easier and make the car more enjoyable to drive and easier to work on. Better gas mileage, gear ratio selection, etc.

Unless we're talking about an 8 second FWD drag car.

everywhere in the world except north america, u cant get a DL without knowing how to drive a stick...limiting yourself to a granny trans only proves that youre too lazy.

You probably wouldn't feel so hot if you said that to someone who was missing a leg or a hand. Don't assume everyone is lazy, some people NEED automatic transmissions.
