Default D16y8 crank help

so i'm in the process of a vitara build and found out alot about the y8 cranks how they like to spin bearings because of poor oiling and read that ur better to switch to the a6 crank. my question is would the d16a1 crank out of the 86-89 integra fit also and would this be better then the y8 crank? or does anyone have any suggestions it is extremely hard to find a a6 crank where i'm located so there out of the question.

You'd be better off modifying (shim/port) your stock oil pump, rather than swapping crankshafts. Or you could just buy a Toga oil pump. For info on the shim/port method, do a search here on H-t or do a search on google of (without quotes) "y8 oil pump shim".

The hole of the D17 crank pulley is bigger than the Y8 one, so it won't even fit on the Y8 crank. A different crank pulley also wouldn't have any effect of better oiling.
