Re: How to identify a d16a6 crank?
Then why are people always saying to swap in a z6/a6 crank into your y7/y8 block? What so special about the crank? I know the z6/a6 block has better oiling capabilities because of the 2 oil galleys per rod journal. But I keep hearing the crank for the z6/a6 is better. If I'm wrong then that's fine it means I don't have to worry about it.

Re: How to identify a d16a6 crank?
Okay, I figured out why the a6/z6 crank is the better crank over the y7/y8 crank. While both cranks are the same including the part number. The z6/a6 crank has chambered oiling holes while the y7/y8 does not. This is why people prefer the z6/a6 crank, now I'm trying to find a picture of the z6/a6 crank showing the chambered oiling holes. Because I'm talking to a guy who thinks he has one but is not sure if it is or not.
Does anybody have a picture of an z6/a6 crank showing the oiling holes?? If so please post it for me that would be a big help.
