So i just had to replace some of my valves and this shop i talked to said i had to put like grey rtv in between the two gaps of the spark plug tubes so they dont leak oil into the spark plug tube but in my chiltons book and it doesnt say anything about it.

If anybody knows anything about this let me know. Thanks

 

there should be seals on the bottom side of the valvecover that go around the spark plug tubes. Replace those seals
