a2w intercooler, water feed lines.
Hey guys, using the pte 1000hp a2w with cast endtanks.. im sure you guys know the one im talking about. I will be using just an ice box with icewater, and circulating pump. However, im going to stick the icebox in trunk, thinking about 3gallon capacity should suffice. Im going to build my own tank.
The inlet/outlets for the water lines on the IC look to be -16 (can anyone confirm this?). Well, what I was considering doing was getting an adaptor to 'up' the size of the hose I can run to maybe 1 1/4" since the lines will be kind of long that circulate the water so it will flow more.
So, anyone confirm the size of -16? I know this is a pipe thread, it looks to be 1", so im guessing I will have to go with some type of adaptor first off to go from 1" NPT to -16an. IF i use -16, I was thinking -20 but its so expensive and hard to find!
So, what do you guys think? Is it worth upping the hose size?

My precision a2w is the 1000hp one with cast tanks. It has 1"npt female bungs.
If you dont mind how it looks. Just get a 1"npt to 1"barb fitting and run 1" heater hose with some hose clamps. Its cheap and works great!
