i don't haven't had a 6th gen or anything like it here in a few years.
my friend is looking at an '00 Si and i told him to make sure the trans vin tag and engine numbers match the vin.
where is the vin on the engine? again, i don't have the car in front of me so i can't look and i can't seem to recall anything other than the trans tag.
thanks.

if its an si, just look for "b16a2" on the block and the vin is on the firewall annnnnnnnnnnd in the dash
under where the inspection stickers go on the window....at least on my car, on his si it should read "em1" in the
middle of the vin!!

thanks guys.
yeah, i was specifically curious about the engine block itself. i know there is a trans tag, but if i had to direct him on the block vin...i'll tell him to look for something along the path of the header secondaries.
