Vtec solenoid obd1 obd2 differance

Is an obd1 vtec solenoid different from obd1 to obd2 ? I thought they were all the same but an obd1 solenoid will not fit on my Y8 head.

so there is no difference ? the y8 solenoid has to be different then an obd1 solenoid .

i think they bolt on diff.
but they are the same internaly

yeah im talking about bolt pattern, i just found a picture they are different, thanks for quick reply.
