Default pistons and vavles quick question...

hey guys im about to pick up these oversize type r pistons for a pretty good price and i have some super tech flat face high compression valves. I was wondering if my valves would be ok to run with the oversize type r pistons. My valves are stock size i just wanna make sure if its ok to run with some over size pistons.

Oversized pistons have nothing to do with raising the dome, so valve to piston clearance is the same as if you were running standard size pistons. Therefore, yes, you will be fine running the flat faced valves and OS pistons. Unless if you have the head milled and the deck block like .030" or more, than I would be concerned about valve to piston contact, or if you don't set the timing right.

By the way, what cams are you going to use?
