My buddy has neuspeed full coilovers which are comprised of a neuspeed spring and a bilstein shock. He recently purchased functions because one of the bilsteins blew out. I was wondering though, would i be able to use the neupseed springs from his coilovers together with some koni yellows, or would there be a problem with the spring not fitting the konis?

 

They might fit, but typically coilover springs are way shorter than regular springs. Your car would be dumped as hell with just the springs on there with no collars.

 

Neuspeed coilover springs actually look more like regular springs - however the bottom of the spring is most likely too small to fit on an OE-type spring perch.

 

Just get the Bilstiens from your friend and pay to have them rebuilt, it only costs $65 per corner.

I've run the same setup on two of my civic hatches and love the ride. Auto-x and track days are a blast as well.
