Evaluate my build, be my critic. d16-t
d16y8 block, z6 forged srp pistons, h beam rods
-a6 head gasket (i believe this makes 9.03:1 cr)
-z6 head- crower springs and retainers
-shimmed PORTED oil pump
-y8 crank.... i know i know should be z6. I know lots of people with good hp on y8 cranks
t3t4, hks bov, tial 38mm gate, ram horn
450 cc dsm injectors/ 255 walbro pump
p28(will be chipped and tuned)
this is my first turbo build and im looking for some advice, of if i sound like i know what im talking about at all.

using the setup on my stock d16y8 now, and hoping to make 200+ on like 8-10 pounds while builing my new motor with stated specs above, hoping for 300+ on like 15-18 pounds... what do you think
Hmmmm, ever considered the vitara build? my buddy did a similar build w/ the vitara/eagle combo and made 320whp on 22psi with a 54 trim t3/t4.
i did consider the vitara build, its ALOT cheaper then forged, but forged is better for a daily driver application and long term use.... or so i read. Vitara is cast pistons and arent as durable as forged.

i understand they are cast, but the fact they arent "as reliable" is not true. I have seen many vitara setups making 400whp as daily drivers and last years, seriously. Its your money though, im just saying my opinion. speedfactory here in WA had a vitara build hatch making 500whp on stock sleeves and they raced it 2 years before anything happened. probably 200+ passes at the track.
And no, I don't have "too much time on my hands".. I spent all of about maybe 5 mins on Honda-tech yesterday.
nice franskenstain, my opinion non-vtec engine are bettler for turbo but it sound like you know what you are doing so GOOD LUCK men and nice work that one that you did

TO OP: May I ask what chassis is this one going into?
