Default Low idle cause a CEL 9?

Would having the idle dip below 500 cause this code to come up?

code 9 correct me if im wrong but that is a distributor problem correct? my bro's crx is throwing the same code but havent got time to look at it

im guess that with a code 9 there could be a few issues.... bad wiring(tis possible) check your connectors, or the distributor is possibly going. i dont think a low idle would cause this.
Just for convo. sake when you start ur car does ur car instantly low idle 500 and under on cold and throw the cel?? or is it warm drop to 500 and under then throw the cel?

bassicly throw out some more info

It only does it when its warm. If i'm at a stop light for too long the cel just comes on. yea code 9 is cylinder position sensor in the dizzy but it's been doing this every since i bought the new dizzy during my swap.
