Default 89 crx si SOFT clutch, slippage at hi rpm?

in advance thanks fr any help, please no smart *** stuff

there are multiple problems here

ok chassis and 89 crx si. has an si tranny that whenever im in a low gear say 3rd gear or lower and i let off the gas fast enough ill hear a scrunching sound coming from what i thinks the tranny.

is perfect in accelerating or cruising speeds. i dnt think its the mounts as they are solid and relatively new. the problem other than making a sound has no affect on the actual performance of the car, atleast noticeably. slows smoothly and whatnot. so im not too concerned w/ it to be honest. but any ideas are helpful. it does have royal purple trans fluid but it hasnt helped. had lucas fluid before that so ya.

next

clutch pedal feels VERY soft. it's a new clutch, like a lil over a week old, i feel slippage between gears....im not sure if its something i did or if the clutch (from autozone) is bunk. did most everything to trq specs, only skimped on not resurfacing the flywheel. i dnt think that would effect the feel of the clutch pedal tho. the pressure plate is trqed to if i remember right 33 lbs.

the slippage i noticable between all gears =[
1st gear catches kinda ok, after 1st you need to time the gas and clutch drop nearly perfect. holds in 1st n 2nd but at high rpms i have slippage up around the 5000 rpm mark in 3rd-5th gear.

oh yeah i have DOHC ZC. from what ive read the flywheel on it should be identical to that of any other d-series motor.

sorry soo long but i want to be as helpful before hand as possible

thnx
