i have no idea whats going on with this car i was driving today and my car just started to decelerate.i would press the gas pedal all the way and nothing would happen the car would continue to delecerate. then i started to downshift from 5th when i got to 3rd it started to pick up again like nothing happened.what can this be is my tranny going bad or is it the clutch. also can there be something wrong with my dizzy i need answers!!! this is the 3rd time this has happened in 2 weeks i never had this problem before im so madd right now

i dont remember what the tach was doing but i think it went to 0 im not sure i was too stoned when this happend

i had a similar issue awhile back after nearly running my car out of gas.
my car did the same kind of stuff after that and sometimes refused to start unless i ran the fuel pump a couple times.

check for crap in the filter - thats my suggestion

 

First thing I would do is check the spark, see if its weak or if you have any at all. If its weak or non, check cap & rotor and plugs. Typically when a car does that it is usually a spark issue. But check all that, if all thats good, next thing would check next is fuel ****
