Default Coilover suspension questions

Hey all, had a quick question about certain coilover suspension kit brand names.
I'm looking for a full coilover kit for my 97 civic and wanted to know if brands such as c8 and godspeed make good kits for these cars ?
I was also looking into megan racing, i love the way they ride, just don't know where to purchase one of their kits other than the actual website.

Any other brand out there that's good other than skunk2 and tein ?
My price limit is no more than $900

If you have that much to spend get Koni/GC. If you must get a full coilover get PIC.

Are the skunk2 coilover kits really stiff ?
I read up that they are ride height adjustable but also wanted to know if they are stiffness adjustable as well ?

I had the Godspeed SS' on my EG a few years ago and they rode alright. But now i am on F2 type twos. I must say, im way happier!

Spend your money wisely and do it right the 1st time.

Listen to this guy, Skunk2 has 3 months warranty, Koni/GC lifetime. Pic is 1 year but they supposedly take care of their customers even after the fact. All of those other brands of coilovers that you have mentioned have failed in more ways than one in the past use the search to find out more before throwing away your $$.

In practise there's no quality diff between Skunk2 and GC/Koni - apart from the one damper being Skunk2 and the other Koni, but that's another choice - the real choice.

The Skunk2's are equally adjustable (Pro-C).

Being able to get custom springrates is no benefit unless you are an experienced driver who knows exactly what rates he wants.

You can mount springs with other rates on the Skunk2s too.

So, to repeat, the question you must ask yourself is: 'do I want Skunk2 dampers or Koni's'.

Also you might want to ask yourself if you want a 1 year warranty or lifetime warranty

koni is much higher quality then skunk2. hence the lifetime warranty over the 1 year,
however, im not saying there is anything wrong with choosing skunk2, there parts are good quaility, they also have fantastic costumer service, but when a company can offer a lifetime warranty over anothers 1 year, there is a difference in quality

98civdx i totally agree agree with on your last arguement about 1 vs lifetime warranty.
Practically i'm looking to get me a full coilover suspension that includes already new top hats, studs, pretty much a whole replacement, something i won't have to re-use my old studs, i know there isn't anything wrong with that but while i'm at it why not replace it all for new stuff.
So i can get me a gc/koni setup for $900 ?
Also i haven't seen any megan racing coilovers as a choice ? I have personally rode on 2 eclipse gst with the megans and i love the stiffness, what do you guys think of megans ?
I don't plan to autocross my car or anything, just my normal daily driver/weekend warrior for straightaways.

yea koni/gc is great cant beat the price, warranty. but for 900 i dont know if top hats are included, you may have to re use your old ones, unless you want to buy the ground control extended top hats, all four i belive are 245. remember konis can be adjusted so, if you dont like the stiffness you can adjust that.
no experience with megan suspension.

Megan racing coilovers are garbage to put it simply. Did you check out PIC? You can get the apex's in the sponsor market place for 750 or the better ones with adjustable dampening are 950. A little more but its a complete full coilover. If your not going to race or do anything you might as well try the new K-Sport coilovers out. They are much cheaper and seem to be getting alright reviews.

For 900 you can get Koni + GC + front GC top hats. The top hats really aren't needed for the rear, but you could have everything replaced for the front with that setup.
