Icon7 New s2000 Racing Suggestions?

When I bought my s2000 I didn't think that I would use it but this baby is meant to roar and I have no idea where to race this thing. There are places like Red Line Time Attack events or the Honda Riders Club of America but I mean if I join the racing club how often do you think they would have track days. Here is a link explaining the Red Line series. Note that I am a pretty amateur racer so I don't anything too extreme. Any suggestions would be great!

i can't help you, but i do agree - once you start pushing this car a bit, all you want to do is take to the track..

My best bet is for you to contact them and join their forums. Are they the only local tracks that are available to you? If so, just drop by there and ask them a few questions, I'm pretty sure they will answer all them.

Best thing to do first is try out autox. Cheap and affordable.

Honda Riders Club of America (HRCA) is a motorcycling club, so you'd feel just slightly out of place at their events with your S2k.

Where abouts are you from?

Autox is a great start but at the same time just because you like or don't like autocrossing, doesn't mean you'll feel the same way about driving on a track.

Track ftw!!! But AutoX would definitely be a great way to learn your cars characteristics before throwing yourself in the fire

Open lapping days at a track. More bang for buck IMO

Also in April there is another event at the same track with www.nasaproracing.com register early under Register for an event and in the HPDE 1 - High Performance Driving Event 1 beginners start there. Good luck and pm your number or visit my website to get a hold of me www.pmgarage.com if you have anymore questions or just want to talk about it gl.
