Anyone running H&R Race Springs?
Are they stiff? How do they handle (I am hopin you are using some type of nice shocks)? How low is that 2.5" drop? Have any pics (cuzz I really wanna see!!!!)?

I got them, with koni yellow on my '90 Rex.
The ride is ok.
The package perform very well on a track.
The drop is at least 2".
But,you should consider that my set-up was chosen for track not the street ride.I know,I could have bought better shocks or spring but I'm on a budget!
Don't know why,but on a 4 gen,the drop is less then on a 5-6 gen.
Well, some of my friends have there tire more inside the fender.
All w/ 15" wheels.
We don't need no stinkin big wheels!!!
I could get you a pics tomorrow if you want.

i have h&r on my beater, it is about a 2" drop. it cleans it up nice and offers a smooth ride, not too stiff. i also have tenzo springs on my other civic and it is a 2.5" drop, it looks much more agressive and tucks my wheels. its ride is stiffer.

my friend got em .. didnt even lower his car .. he has 16 and its look like stock ride hidth with 17 . if that make sence .. basicly looks like a 2in gap
I have had them on my Si hatch for about 4 - 5 years. They don't ride too horribly on Ohio roads, but you definately know when you hit a bump! You MUST get shocks though. My Civic shocks lasted literally about 3 weeks before they were 100% shot. I could literally hold the shock up push the piston in totally with my pinkie finger. Shocks are a must, and I say get something good because I know people who have them with tokiko blues, and they're still a little bouncy. I have illuminas, and they're just now starting to feel a little worn from the springs... after about 4 years of everyday driving (the last year I haven't driven it much).
I say get them. They're
for the money.

yes i think your shocks are screwed. spring steel doesnt break down.
spring rates???
Neuspeed Race : 550F 450-60R -from Neu rep.
I added the Neu. if anyone wanted to know. I was going to buy Neuspeed, but those are pushing it with Koni Sports, maximum rate until Konis have to be revalved is 500-600, that's pushing it with the Neu. Race.
I think it's great. I used to have an '85 Corvette with the Z51 option, it doesn't matter about the car, but on softest setting on the Konis, the ride is softer than the Vette.
It's less stiff, but it might be stiffezel to someone else.
Someone mentioned that the softest setting was pushing it and the firmest was unbearable, but to me the soft is great and firm is fine. I guess it depends on you.

i got it with a set of kyb agx and i love it
the wheel gap kinda sucks tho, still 1-1.5 finger gap
kinda wish i got the koni yellows now cuz they have an adjustable perch

Hmm.... for track use, would you recommend the Neuspeeds over the H&R's because of the higher spring rates? I will be using Koni Yellows.
Have h&r on my 90 B15A 4door and they handle like ****. Back end gets lose when i'm over 75mph. At runs last week almost lost it and would have had the hole pack in my back end
