93 Si Vtec Brake question?
i bought front EBC Rotors 10.2 dimpled slotted. Its for the 2.3L I have a 93 Si Vtec . I founded out the front is 11.1 Diam. what can i due to make this fit and would it effect my braking dramatically. i been researching this for about a few days now and can't really come up with anything.
Not unless you feel like down-grading to the Si/S caliper and 10.2" rotor.
I would try to sell them and just put OEM vtec rotors on... no need for that dimpled/drilled/slotted bullshiit

well i just thought of something... would they fit the rear since its the same size as the s/si... and just order front . i plan on doin all for anyway
The only way you can get them to work is to use the S/Si Front Calipers and brackets. It would be a downgrade, so your best bet is to return them or sell them to someone else and reorder the correct VTEC 11" front rotors.

I decided to put them on my wife's h23 and just got in new rotora drilled slotted rotors and Hawks ceramic pads. i went to autozone and they gave me 10.2 front rotors. it fits but i would rather have the 11in so i brought those back also.
So yoparts.com didn't have the rotors i wanted in stock. So i'm left with no front brakes. I went to autozone and the dude gave me 10in rotor, return them. They fit but would the 1 in different in diameter make a different in braking?
dont screw around with brakes, if there is a Napa or car quest or something like that in your area, go there and they can order you the correct rotors if they do not have them in stock. If you want something good, napa can get you Brembo blanks, or the have the cheaper stuff too.
Seriously man this shouldn't be that hard. You want the 11" rotors from the VTEC model, not the S or Si model rotors - NO....
If you cant tell by looking, bring a piece of paper with you that has markings for 11" rotors and put the paper over the rotor face to see if the diameter is the same.
Forget the drilled or slotted or dimpled rotors -- those are rice. Get regular rotors, they will do just fine and you will not have to worry about cracking or warping associated with the drilled/slotted rotors. Only get those fancy looking ones if you like the looks, because they won't do a damn thing for your performance except wear out quicker.

less surface area = less braking power
